Program Designer + Facilitator
Natalie Difford has over ten years of designing and facilitating retreats, labs, workshops, masterclasses, screening series, and programs for both fiction and non-fiction filmmakers. She is most widely known for her work spearheading the Cinereach Fellowship Program, which incubated the careers of Eliza Hittman, Terence Nance, Nicole Perlman, Andrew Thomas Huang, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Barry Jenkins, and Zachary Heinzerling and more.
Natalie’s approach is all about ensuring a meaningful, productive experience for all. As someone who has worked with filmmakers from a wide-range of experience and backgrounds, Natalie understands that needs and expectations differ participant to participant and works hard to ensure all aspects of the program are thoroughly workshopped to be purposeful and respectful to all, especially with regards to an EDI lens.
Natalie can be available, for the right partners, to support: program design; (co-) facilitation; guest speaker/masterclasses; mentorship; and more. Organizations Natalie has worked with include Almanack Screenwriters, Cinereach, Chicken & Egg Pictures, EFM, Film London, Gotham (formerly IFP), SXSW and The Science and Entertainment Exchange.
